Yosemite Pet Hospital is looking for qualified, enthusiastic people to join the staff of our new "State of the Art" s mall a nimal h ospital.  We emphasize outstanding veterinary care, and we believe this starts with our hospital staff.  We are looking to develop a highly trained, educated, compassionate and dedicated team that can project a professional and helpful image to our clients.

Positions Available:

Veterinary Technician -  Vet Techs interact closely with our clients and our patients, providing client education and implementing the patients' treatment plans.  Duties will include receiving patients, nursing care, obtaining lab samples and performing routine lab tests, taking X-rays, surgery prep, monitoring anesthesia and performing routine dental prophylaxis.  Experience in Veterinary Medicine or Medical Field is required.

RVT -  We utilize RVTs to their fullest.  In addition to Vet Tech responsibilities,  RVTs will be responsible for: inducing anesthesia, performing routine dental extractions and minor skin suturing, assisting in surgery and helping to implement the overall treatment plans for patients.  RVT License Required, Experience in Veterinary Medicine is required.

Receptionist-  The Receptionist is the "First Impression" for most clients.  We are looking for "People Persons" to interact closely with our clients.  Primary duties include, scheduling appointments, answering phones, performing follow-up callbacks and invoicing for services.  The Receptionist also works closely with the patient and client throughout their visit.  We are a paperless practice, therefore computer experience is required.  Experience in the Veterinary field or Medical field is required.

Salary:  Excellent Salary levels, Commensurate with Experience
